Consent & Communications

How consent works when you submit a CreditRouteCanada request, and how to change your choices.

Draft for owner and counsel review. Bracketed items are unresolved and this page is not final legal text.

01Separate choices

Our request form asks for each consent separately. No checkbox is pre-selected. Agreeing to the Terms of Use, consenting to share your request with partners, and each way you may be contacted (email, phone, text message) are independent choices.

02What each consent means

Sharing consent: allows us to share the information in your request with third-party dealer, lender and finance partners so they can respond.

Contact consents: allow CreditRouteCanada and the partners your request is routed to to contact you about this request by the selected method only.

03Recording your consent

We keep a record of the consent wording you accepted, its version, and the date and time of your request.

04Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent at any time through our Unsubscribe, Do not call or Privacy request pages. Commercial messages will include an unsubscribe mechanism.

[Partner-side withdrawal handling and CASL / telemarketing specifics — pending counsel review.]
